The Seattle Chapter is honored to host Mario Igrec, RPT, for an all-day technical seminar. Mario is the Chief Piano Technician and Manager of Piano Maintenance at The Juilliard School in New York City. He is the author of Pianos Inside Out: A Comprehensive Guide to Piano Tuning, Repairing, and Rebuilding, and creator of the Practical Touch system for optimizing grand piano actions.

With a Master of Music in piano performance from Stony Brook University and training at the Bösendorfer factories in Vienna, Mario brings a rare combination of technical expertise and musical understanding. He has worked with renowned artists including Garrick Ohlsson, Richard Goode, and Jon Kimura Parker, and previously served on the faculty at North Bennet Street School in Boston.
